Clean, quiet, neat place.Rivers, hills, green fields, few patch of trees. Tiny settlement. Rural. Peaceful.
Only a vast concentration of monuments, tombs and old fortifications betrays this place as one of the bloodiest places in Russia.

Trees almost cut down by beavers...

Less than a two hundred years ago and less than 70 years ago those hills and fields was a feast of death.
