2014.08 - Lama's Town (Zabaikalsky krai)
One of more ambitious of our trips, this time it required 500km of complete autonomus travel far from any signs of civilization, (the only link to “main land” we had was through Iridium sattelite network, mostly as emergency precaution). Sometimes there wasn’t even signs of man-made roads, so it required all the abilities of custom-tuned ex-military 4x4 truck Gaz-66 fitted with tires from BTR-80 APC and all the skills of our dragon driver/mechanic to get through all obstacles.
Our main goal lies deep in the very heart of Zabaykalski krai - an eerie place called “Lama’s Town”.
